Play gently and let the cue breathe
Hold the connecting cord so the cymbals can hang freely, bring their edges together with light control, then separate them and allow the sound to fade. Start softly and avoid striking close to anyone's ear. After use, wipe the pair with a soft dry cloth and return it to its pouch.
