Private Label Logo |
Launching a singing bowl brand takes more than adding a logo to a bowl.
You need products that fit your positioning, branding that works on real handmade metal, reliable production, consistent quality and a supplier who can reproduce the collection when you need to reorder.
At Healing Singing Bowls (HSB) in Nepal, we help brands develop private-label singing bowl collections from the first idea through production, shipping and future orders.
You can come to us with something as simple as a logo and an idea. We help you work out the rest.
From Your Brand Idea to a Real Singing Bowl Collection
A design that looks perfect on a screen does not always work on a singing bowl.
Fine lines may disappear on smaller bowls. A logo designed for laser engraving may be impossible to reproduce cleanly by hand. The same logo size can look balanced on a large bowl and completely disproportionate on an 11 cm bowl.
This is where HSB does more than execute an engraving request.
We look at your:
- brand positioning;
- target customer;
- logo and visual identity;
- preferred price range;
- bowl types and sizes;
- engraving method;
- patina and finish;
- and plans for the future collection.
We then help translate that direction into a product that can actually be manufactured.
Our role is partly creative and partly technical.
We preserve the intention of your brand while working within the realities of handmade singing bowls.
If you only need to personalize individual products rather than develop a complete brand, see our Customized Singing Bowls service.
Which Singing Bowls Should Your Brand Use?
Different brands need different products. HSB can help you build your collection from our broader range of singing bowls handmade in Nepal.
For Premium Brands
For a more refined, premium collection, we often recommend Patan singing bowls.
Their finer hammering and more controlled appearance work particularly well with sophisticated branding and precise laser engraving.
They are often a better fit when the design is minimal, detailed or positioned at the higher end of the market.
We can also explore less common bowl families such as Mustang bowls when a premium collection needs greater variety.

For Broader Retail Collections
For a more accessible or traditional collection, seven-metal singing bowls are generally the best starting point.
They provide the classic handmade singing bowl appearance and allow considerable flexibility with:
- patinas;
- shiny or aged finishes;
- dark engraving;
- light engraving;
- tone-on-tone logos;
- and exposed-metal designs.
If your range grows, we can also discuss other styles such as Manipuri, Wutabatty, Jumka and thicker bowl types according to availability.
We can also help brands develop complete singing bowl sets rather than selling each size as an isolated product.
Laser Engraving or Hand Engraving?
The best technique depends on your logo and the visual direction of the brand.
Hand Engraving
Hand engraving gives a more traditional, artisanal appearance.
It works best with:
- relatively simple designs;
- strong lettering;
- traditional motifs;
- rustic visual identities.
Very thin lines and complex logos usually require a different approach.
|
Hand Carving |
Laser Engraving
Laser engraving gives us far greater precision.
It is particularly useful for:
- detailed logos;
- thin lines;
- precise lettering;
- small design elements;
- consistent branding across a collection.
Different settings and finishes can create different visual effects.
A logo can appear dark grey, black, subtle tone-on-tone or as the natural golden metal revealed beneath a darker patina.
For example, we can patinate a bowl first and then use the laser to remove the patina precisely where the logo appears.

We Help Adapt Your Logo to the Bowl
You do not need to arrive with a production-ready engraving file.
Most clients simply send their existing logo by email or WhatsApp. A clear, high-resolution JPG or PNG is usually enough for us to begin discussing the project.
If your logo contains multiple colors, very fine details or elements that cannot be reproduced directly on metal, we help adapt it.
Engraving is not multicolor printing. Instead, we work with:
- line thickness;
- contrast;
- patina;
- exposed metal;
- laser intensity;
- placement.
If the original idea will not work, we tell you before production.
More importantly, we try to understand what you wanted the design to achieve and propose an alternative that stays true to the brand.
See the Direction Before Producing Samples
Before producing physical prototypes, we can prepare visual mock-ups to explore different directions.
This allows us to compare:
- bowl type;
- patina;
- shiny or aged finishes;
- logo size;
- logo placement;
- laser versus hand engraving;
- different levels of contrast.
This can prevent unnecessary prototype costs and helps both sides identify design problems early.
A very detailed logo, for example, may look excellent on a large bowl but become unreadable when reduced onto a small one.
It is much better to discover that before engraving the actual product.

Build a Collection, Not Just One Customized Bowl
For a brand, consistency across the range matters.
We can adjust the branding according to bowl size while keeping the same overall identity.
We can also customize individual products within the collection.
For example, each bowl can include its corresponding musical note:
C · D · E · F · G · A · B
The brand identity remains consistent, while every bowl is individually identifiable.
Where relevant, frequency references can also be incorporated into the engraving.
This is especially useful for premium sets and collections organized by note.
Start With a Small First Collection
Our standard minimum order value is approximately €200 or the equivalent in another currency, with some flexibility depending on the project.
A new brand therefore does not need to begin with a large production run.
We often recommend starting with three or four bowl sizes.
This gives you the opportunity to evaluate:
- engraving quality;
- logo proportions;
- finishes;
- bowl quality;
- packaging;
- customer response.
Some clients begin with only a few prototypes. Others start with 10–15 bowls that they can immediately begin selling.
The first batch gives us useful information before the collection is scaled.

How We Help You Launch Your Brand
1. Tell Us What You Want to Build
Send us your logo and a short introduction to your project.
Tell us about your brand, your customer and the type of collection you have in mind.
You do not need to know all the technical details.
2. We Review the Logo and Product Direction
We assess the design, bowl sizes, engraving possibilities and potential technical problems.
We also discuss whether your positioning is better suited to seven-metal bowls, Patan bowls or another product family.
3. We Develop the Visual Direction
We can create mock-ups and explore different combinations of bowl, finish and engraving.
If your original idea is difficult to manufacture, we suggest alternatives.
4. You Place the First Order
Once the direction is agreed, we define the first collection.
You can order directly through our website or receive a personalized quotation.
5. We Coordinate Production in Nepal
HSB manages bowl selection, customization, quality control, packing and shipping.
We can send photos during the process so you can follow the development of the order.
6. You Test the First Collection
Once you receive the bowls, we listen to your feedback.
Perhaps the logo should be slightly larger. Perhaps another patina suits the brand better. Perhaps one bowl type sells better than another.
We use that information for the next production run.
7. Reorders Become Much Simpler
We keep your project specifications.
Your logo, engraving direction, finishes, bowl choices and other requirements do not need to be reinvented each time you order.
If you return months or years later, we can continue from the work already completed.
A Direct Human Contact Throughout the Project
Working with a manufacturer thousands of kilometres away can become frustrating when communication is unclear.
HSB takes a different approach.
For brand projects, you have a real point of contact.
Depending on the project, this may be Martial, Sanjiv or another member of the team coordinating your production.
We can also create a dedicated WhatsApp group connecting your team directly with the people responsible for the project.
You can receive updates about:
- bowl selection;
- engraving;
- production progress;
- photos;
- packing;
- shipping.
If a video call is useful, we can arrange one.
You know who is handling the project and what is happening.
A Supplier You Can Continue Working With
When someone launches a brand, the first concern is often the logo.
Later, different questions become more important.
- Can the supplier reproduce the same range?
- Will the products arrive reliably?
- What happens if something is damaged?
- What if a bowl arrives in the wrong size or note?
- Can you reorder the same collection two years later?
HSB already manages international production and shipping from Nepal.
If there is a genuine issue with an order, we work with the client to find an appropriate solution.
Depending on the situation, this can involve replacement, credit, inclusion in a future shipment or reimbursement.
The objective is not to sell you one customized order. The objective is to become a reliable production partner as your brand develops.
Real Project: Developing a Collection for a Swiss Brand
We used this process with a Swiss brand developing its own singing bowl range.
During the project, different bowl options were explored before moving towards a more refined Patan collection.
The final branding also changed according to the musical note of each individual bowl.
Instead of applying exactly the same engraving to every product, each bowl incorporated its own note while maintaining a consistent brand identity across the range.

Private-label singing bowls are not just an engraving project.
The product, the branding and the manufacturing technique all need to work together.
Sometimes Our Most Valuable Advice Is “Don’t Do That”
A manufacturer should not blindly execute an idea that is unlikely to work.
For example, a client may want an extremely detailed logo engraved on an 11 cm bowl.
Or they may request traditional hand engraving for a design whose fine lines require laser precision.
We may also find that:
- a logo needs to be simplified;
- the proportions need to change between bowl sizes;
- another patina will provide better contrast;
- a different bowl is a better match for the brand.
When this happens, we do not simply reject the request.
We try to understand the intention behind it and find a technically realistic way to achieve the same objective.
Sometimes the final solution is better than the original idea.
Customization Restrictions
Not every HSB collection can be private-labelled.
Certain specialist artisan collections retain their own identity and cannot be rebranded.
This includes specific bowls produced by Santa Ratna Shakya and Sajan Tapaila, including certain Full Moon, Om, Om Black Edition and related artisan collections.
If the bowl you initially choose cannot be customized, we can usually recommend an alternative.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order?
Our standard minimum order value is approximately €200 or the equivalent in another currency. There can be some flexibility depending on the project.
Can I order samples first?
Yes. For a new brand, we often recommend beginning with three or four different bowl sizes so that you can evaluate the products and branding before developing a larger collection.
Can HSB help me choose the bowls?
Yes. Choosing the right product range is an important part of the service. We can recommend bowl types according to your brand positioning, target customer, budget and visual identity.
Can you engrave any logo?
Not always exactly as originally designed. Very detailed logos, very fine lines or designs intended for small bowls may need to be adapted.
Can you reproduce a multicolored logo?
Not as a multicolored engraving. We use engraving, patina, exposed metal and different levels of contrast rather than printed colors.
Can every bowl have its own note?
Yes. We can incorporate C, D, E, F, G, A or B while retaining the same overall brand identity.
Can you engrave frequencies?
Yes, where appropriate. We recommend agreeing on the exact format before production.
Can you reproduce the same collection later?
Yes. HSB keeps the project specifications so that future orders can follow the direction already established.
Does HSB handle international shipping?
Yes. We coordinate production and international shipping from Nepal.
What if something is wrong with my order?
Contact your HSB account contact. If a product is damaged or does not match the agreed specification, we review the situation and work with you on an appropriate solution.
