3. How do we obtain the data?
We obtain personal data directly from you when you use the website or contact us; automatically from your browser or device through technical functions and, where applicable, cookies; and from payment, delivery and technical-service providers when they send us information needed to confirm or perform a transaction or service.
4. Why do we use your data and on what legal basis?

5. Who may receive or access your data?
Access is limited to the information needed for each task. Depending on the service concerned, recipients may include:
- authorised persons acting under Namasté SAS instructions;
- our authorised operational team in Kathmandu, Nepal, for account management, order preparation, delivery coordination and customer support;
- PrestaShop and IONOS for operation and hosting of the website;
- PayPal and PrestaShop Checkout, Wise and relevant banks for payment processing and reconciliation;
- carriers and logistics providers selected for the destination, for delivery and shipment management;
- Cookiebot for presenting, recording and managing cookie choices;
- Google services used on the website, including analytics, advertising and reCAPTCHA services, according to the applicable settings and choices;
- WhatsApp and WeChat when you choose to communicate with us through those services;
- professional advisers, insurers, courts, regulators or public authorities where disclosure is necessary or legally required.
We do not share personal data with unidentified commercial partners. If we ever offer communications from a specific partner, that partner and the intended use will be identified before any sharing, and separate consent will be requested where required.
6. Access from Nepal and other international processing
Authorised persons in our operational team in Kathmandu act under the instructions of Namasté SAS. They may access the personal data necessary to manage accounts, prepare and fulfil orders, coordinate delivery and respond to customers. This may include account and order details, addresses, messages, attachments, photographs and videos.
This access from Nepal involves processing outside the European Economic Area. Namasté SAS remains responsible for the processing, limits access to operational needs and applies the data-protection and security requirements relevant to the situation. Some service providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area. The applicable protections depend on the destination, the provider and the legal arrangement concerned.
You may contact contact@healingsingingbowls.com to obtain further information about the countries concerned and the safeguards applicable to your data.
7. How long do we keep personal data?
Namasté SAS has adopted the following retention rules. Data may be kept longer where required by law or strictly necessary for an ongoing dispute or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. At the end of the relevant period, data is deleted, anonymised or placed in a restricted legal archive.
- Orders and contract performance: for the time needed to prepare, deliver and follow up the order, followed by any period strictly necessary for customer service or legal claims.
- Invoices and accounting records: for ten years in accordance with French accounting requirements.
- Customer accounts: while the account is active. An account with no activity for two years is scheduled for closure and deletion. Where contact is possible, we will first send a warning so that the customer can keep the account active. Order, invoice or dispute records that must be retained are separated from the active account and kept only for the applicable legal period.
- General enquiries and customer-service exchanges: for the time needed to answer the request, then for up to three years after the last exchange where follow-up or evidence may reasonably be necessary.
- Photographs and videos relating to a missing, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming product: deleted after the case is closed. If a particular file is strictly necessary for an actual dispute, that file is isolated and retained only for the time needed to resolve or defend the claim.
- Newsletter and prospecting data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, which is applied without delay, and otherwise for no more than three years after the last active commercial contact.
- Records of marketing objections: for three years so that your choice can continue to be respected.
- Security and access logs: normally between six months and one year, unless an incident or legal requirement justifies longer restricted retention.
- Cookie choices: consent or refusal is normally remembered for six months. The actual lifetime of each cookie or tracker is stated in the current Cookiebot declaration.
- Payment information: retained according to the information actually received by Namasté SAS, the applicable legal requirements and the retention rules of the payment provider concerned.
8. Newsletter and use of artificial-intelligence assistance
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we use your email address and subscription preference to send Healing Singing Bowls news and offers. You can unsubscribe immediately through the link provided in an email or by contacting us.
Digital or artificial-intelligence tools may assist us solely in drafting, translating or preparing the content of communications. Subscriber lists, personal email addresses and other customer personal data are not needed for that purpose and are not transmitted to such tools for content preparation. This assistance does not make decisions about you.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
We use Cookiebot to present information about cookies and similar technologies, record your choices and give you access to preference controls. Cookies may support website functions such as security, authentication, language selection, shopping carts and checkout. Other tools may be used for preferences, statistics, advertising or services such as reCAPTCHA.
The current Cookiebot declaration identifies the cookies and providers detected on the website, their stated purposes, categories and actual lifetimes. This live declaration should be consulted for the current technical details. The general six-month period above concerns the memory of your consent or refusal, not the lifetime of every individual cookie.
You can accept, refuse or customise the available choices and change your decision at any time through the Cookiebot settings on the website. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings. Refusing optional technologies does not prevent access to the website, although some optional features may work differently.
10. Your data-protection rights
Subject to the conditions provided by law, you may request access to your personal data; correct inaccurate or incomplete data; request deletion; request restriction of processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests; receive eligible data in a portable format; withdraw consent at any time; and object at any time to direct marketing.
To exercise a right, email contact@healingsingingbowls.com or write to Namasté SAS at the address above. Please describe your request clearly. We will request additional proof of identity only where there are reasonable doubts about the requester's identity.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés: CNIL complaints service.
11. Security
Namasté SAS applies technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risks, including limiting access to authorised persons who need the information for their tasks and requiring them to follow confidentiality and security instructions. Service providers receive only the information needed for their role.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe that your account or information has been compromised, please contact us promptly.
12. Children
The website is not designed to collect personal data from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal data without appropriate authorisation, please contact us so that we can examine and, where appropriate, delete it.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our services, providers or legal obligations. The current version and its update date will be published on this page. Where a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide additional notice where required.
14. Contact and related pages
